As part of the Creators Awhi whānau you’ll belong to an organisation that advocates and delivers excellence in home-based early childhood education. Whether you are one of our early childhood kaiako or part of our support team in our National Head Office, belonging to the Creators Awhi whānau is a unique experience where you will be able to make a genuine difference in the lives of tamariki.
We speak for the child that cannot speak for itself - but first we listen, and understand.
The beauty of home–based learning means no two days will be the same. You will help children from different backgrounds and communities; and you will be encouraged to step outside your comfort zone.
As thought leaders in our industry, we are committed to providing targeted professional development with regular regional workshops and National Conference each year. Your work will contribute towards a greater understanding around effective implementation of early childhood education pedagogy and will enhance the future of tamariki in Aotearoa.
Everyone who joins Creators Awhi brings their own kete - a basket full of knowledge and skills that is unique to that person. We are looking for people with:
- Passion to giving tamariki the best learning experience possible
- Motivation to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness and confidence to build relationships and spread the word about Creators Awhi.
Communities are important to us and you’ll join a team working to foster new relationships and grow support around our tamariki. At Creators Awhi, we believe that the child is at the centre of everything we do. We understand shared social responsibility and see firsthand that home–based early childhood education can be the greatest catalyst for change during the most crucial years of development.
